Buy a finch

If you've decided to add zebra finches to your family, you came to the right place.

Each and every bird we have is part of our family. As a responsible breeder, we want to ensure that our babies go to loving forever homes, where they will thrive and live out their lives surrounded by love and happiness.

All our zebra finches are home raised, with exposure to everyday normal indoor sounds and constant human contact. Unlike mass producing commercial breeders, we breed only a very small number of birds. Because of this, we have a waiting list. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please fill out the reservation form on the bottom of this page.

As a responsible breeder, we also ask all propective buyers to complete a bird ownership screening form, which can be found on the bottom of this page.

We care about the continuity of healthy bloodlines and therefore have zero inbreeding in our flock. To ensure they have healthy and happy offspring, we provide our birds with plenty of space, high quality food, a lot of stimuli, and a stress-free life.

Please note that our zebra finches are not tame.

Zebra finches are very social and require lots of stimuli, including toys (swings and ropes), and access to clean bathing water, fresh food and drinking water daily. It is NOT recommended to have a single zebra finch, because they tend to get depressed due to loneliness. Therefore, to ensure our babies are happy and thriving once they leave our aviary, we will not sell only one bird. Zebra finches require lots of exercise and a sufficiently large cage that will enable them to fly and play.

While all sales are final, our job is not over after our finches find a new home. If, for any reason, the circumstances change and the new owner is no longer able to take care of the finches, we will gladly take them back. We also offer lifetime support in terms of advice on finch care and nutrition, and are always there to answer any non-medical questions one might have about their finches. We do not provide medical advice or medical care, as that is within the domain of an avian vet.

The price depends on the colour mutation and it starts at $29.99 + HST.
