About us
We are a small aviary located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Our specialty is raising zebra finches with lots of care and love. All our feathery babies are part of our family.
Unlike mass-producing commercial breeders, our approach is centered around quality over quantity. We breed only a select number of birds each year, allowing us to devote time and attention to the well-being of each finch in our care. Our birds are housed in spacious, thoughtfully designed enclosures that give them the freedom to fly, explore, and socialize. We believe that providing our finches with plenty of space is essential for their mental and physical health.
In addition to spacious living conditions, we provide only the highest quality food to nourish our birds, ensuring they receive a balanced diet that supports their overall health and vitality. To keep them active and engaged, we incorporate various forms of stimulation, from enriching toys to interactions that encourage natural behaviors. We understand that a stress-free environment is key to raising happy, well-adjusted birds, so we go to great lengths to minimize any unnecessary disruptions in their daily routines.
We are also deeply committed to the long-term health and genetic diversity of our flock. We prioritize the continuity of strong, healthy bloodlines and maintain a strict policy of zero inbreeding. This ensures that our finches are not only healthy but also genetically diverse, which is essential for their continued well-being and the future of our aviary.
